Allison Chase left SuperChefs empty-handed and humiliated. A third-place finish cost her the win, the momentum, and the future she believed was finally within reach. But embarrassment is the least of her problems.
When former castmates begin falling victim to a series of tragedies, Allison senses something far more sinister at work. The only person who takes her suspicions seriously is Lucas Gray, a rugged, sharp-eyed detective with a reputation for playing by his own rules. As they work together to uncover who is “cutting” the competition, the heat between them becomes impossible to ignore.
As the aftermath of the show turns deadly, Allison must decide whether she can trust the detective determined to protect her, or whether the man she is falling for is hiding secrets of his own.
This time, losing is not just humiliating. It is fatal.
