A raven-snake assassin team, spawn of genetic engineering, escape their evil master in Peru, the violent leader of the Maoist Shining Path, to land in California. Rodger Games, a carpenter/guitar player, is initially taken hostage. Once freed he begins a wary alliance and seeks to unravel the mystery of their origin only to become entangled in their fate amid his own quest for the beautiful Luana.
