Café owner Stella Ray is ready to help with the town’s annual Garden Tour. Pastries prepped, tables set, and her bulldog Rex already forming opinions about the guests. But when one of the tour’s most demanding hosts collapses in the middle of a garden demonstration, the perfect weekend takes a very dark turn.
It doesn’t take long for Stella to realize just how many people had a reason to see the victim gone. With her cousin Cara settling into her new role at the Willowberry Gazette, Stella starts gathering clues that someone in Willowberry has worked very hard to keep buried.
The suspect list grows quickly. A co-host tired of being overshadowed; a donor with something to protect; and a quiet assistant who has spent far too long being overlooked.
If Stella gets too close to the truth, she may find herself right where the victim ended up…silenced.
