I know I should stay out of it. But my cat has an uncanny talent for uncovering clues hidden in my favorite books—an ability that makes absolutely no sense. Then again, why should it?
He’s the real detective. I’m just the amateur sleuth. And there are alligators lurking in the backyard.
Add a dead body, a book club packed with suspicious characters, and suddenly this is my new normal.
